The forceps injury that caused his trademark "droopy" face is the reason to the birth of Stallone. Also, the accident led Stallone to lose an artery, rendering him without speech. Stallone was a troubled child. His parents' hostility ultimately led to divorce, had detrimental impacts on him as well as Frank. Stallone was a child in foster care. As Stallone was about five years aged, his father moved the family into the Washington, D.C. area which is where he began his own beauty parlor chain.
